Remove yellow subtitles / descriptive text

Using Kodi 17.6 on a RPI3

How can I turn off the yellow subtitles / descriptive text on IPTV channels?

When on a channel with the subtitles I clicked on the sound horn and subtitles are disabled but still show.

Is there a fix?

I don't think you can remove them. i believe it's controlled at the source of the signal

It does come embedded from the source and cannot be adjusted by the end user.

A pet peeve of mine as well, is the Descriptive Video SAP being selected, instead of Normal Audio.
