View Full Version : Buzz basic Android 6 to 7 update?

Hi all,

I'm sure it's been posted here but I can't find it. Sorry if it has ;)

I've set up around 20 buzz basics in the last month and all had android 7 installed. I bought another 10 yesterday and they all have android 6 installed.

Will these boxes get the update to android 7?

I guess my question is moot if the buzztv2 app is updated on android 6, but I have a couple of android 6 boxes that have not gotten the buzztv2 update yet. I've been told that android 6 boxes have gotten the buzz apk update but I haven't seen the apk update on any of my android 6 boxes that's all.

Well, I'm happy with the update for my own boxes ;) I had a couple customers complain that after the update their portal settings reset to default but other than that there's no real issues.

And @Maestro701...you're everywhere as well as I see you responded to me in another forum ;)

Yeah it's cool..... If there portals reset to default it means they probably did a factory reset because the update is has no effect on portals. Only favorites and that is not the case with everyone.

that's cause most favourites are stored on server side
