I have the XPL Buzz box, and I find it very sluggish. Now my internet is the cheapest. See below speeds. Is there anything I can do to improve? I am hardwired to a Dlink router.
Download Speed Up To 6 Mbps
Upload Speed Up To 256 Kbps

Download Speed Up To 6 Mbps......................you may most of the time get less than 6 mbps....on any given day...........thats cutting it close...............as far as speed is concerned....also Dishuser mentioned other devices hooked via router or wifi that could take bandwidth from the box

Seems the Buzz is having a problem working right now (with these speeds).I have the same speed and have been seeing a problem with the buzz. I can run 2 boxes with no problems on 6mbps.But my line never gets throttled.I switched to 2 Dreamlinks and there was no problem.
I should add the buzz and the dreamlinks are running wireless.I will try the buzz wired later and see if there is a difference.

I'm gonna try wired later like i said but I can run the 2 dreamlinks T1 and T1+ and run youtube. So what you have running should not effect it.Unless your running youtube on the highest setting which you can adjust. Also as long as the other persons not downloading anything. You also have to do speed tests at different times in the day to make sure your actually getting 6mbps.Also try different speed test sites.

could the builds affect the buzz, like slow it down?

could the builds affect the buzz, like slow it down? If you mean kodi builds no it wouldn't effect iptv. The Buzz has it's own app and kodi don't load unless you start the app.

ok, thanks. I did change my router settings, from auto channel, to a specific channel, which seemed to help my internet overall, but no difference with buzz box. I have a D-link router, and turned the auto channel scan, to off.
I used to have a 6Mb bw package.
you get throttled down to ~1.2 Mb/sec. LOL
You need a minimum 3mb for SD, 6mb for HD(1080)
Google Home will constantly use bw for updates, time check etc.
Any computer equipment will be using data in the background.
Your STB will also use background data resources.
If using a Custom Kodi build, it will definitely use resources for every Enabled Addon that is installed.
Better upgrade your service to a guaranteed minimum package & approx 8-12 mb/sec.
* you should be able to use VOD if you pause the stream occasionally.
