Movies/shows play fine but the audio doesn't play on random shows/movies.

Everything is fine using Plex on a web browser.

Anyone else using Plex have this issue and is there a fix?

No issues using Plex with Kodi either.

Most likely you need a codec installed for ac3 audio.

Thanks I have read all that and did an internet search before coming here and nothing works.

I thought maybe there was a specific CODEC pack I could install on the box?

did some digging and found the “Optional Audio Support” section under Player in the Settings, which has entries for AC3, EAC3, DTS, and TRUEHD.
