I've tried three different external hds and or usb sticks and i get the error message that they aren't compatible.
These same three work on my 2K box but not my 3K.
What am I missing?
Thanks.
You may have to insert a blank USB stick in the STB and format it from the STB. (Not Formatted on a PC first).

YEP, but the only Stupid ? is/are the ones(s) not Asked...!
I've got One of those Samsung 32 GB, USB 3.0 that My Toshiba Lappy wouldn't Recognize. I got it because My Samsung Phone had problems being seen by same Lappy. It's one of those USB's with a Mini USB on one end and a regular USB on the other...! I ended up putting the mini end into My Phone(after charging it full and turning it Off)... When I turned it back on, it found the mini USB...! Now when I stick it into the Lappy, it is seen... How, Why, I have No idea it just works...!
