avov2 Kodi app icons

i'm just getting to understand kodi on my avov2 and i notice on some how too videos that some peps have the app icon on their main screen or in the video/addons, like ex: phenix app, how would i do this or can i , or is this an option thats not on the avov2,
like in this video that was posted here,
