Mag at a different house.

I got a call about the mag showing the red "Page Error". I went to test.Comcast modem working properly. The mag shows connected.But it wont load the portal.This is strange.So I plugged in my mag that I was watching earlier. And at this address even my mag wont work.What could this be? Is the server blocked by Comcast? I took my mag back to my house and it connects fine. I have a non Comcast modem with Comcast service.Help with this is very much required.

well i would have rebooted the router then turned on mag set it up for Ethernet then tried box had wrong ip still

I rebooted the comcast modem . Still nothing.

which comcast modem? the gateway? i have seen some cases where the mag pulls the same ip as another device on the network for whatever reason and will not connect... try to assign a static ip to the mag but use an ip farther out and see what happens

It is the modem. I did a multi device check and none of them are connecting there is time for a new modem.Thanks you got it Darkside.
