View Full Version : Getting kicked out of channels after a few minutes, looping and freezing.
I appreciate what everyone involved is doing. I also appreciate all those active on these forums with your knowledge and trying to help improve the service and the overall IPTV experience.

I just talked to admin about this again. Or I should say I sent direct message to him.
He will get the message soon.
Its a tough thing to troubleshoot as only some are seeing this as described.

Crazed2.4 I knew you would be on top of things. :rolleyes:Like you always have. Rocket has been off and on like this for a few weeks. Freezing, stopping, also going back to guide after 10 - 15 seconds of watching.:confused: Other friends of mine also having same problems,... Again, thanks crazed2.4 for your help..andkaal:o

Thanks crazed! It started yesterday. I'm hooked up via Ethernet with a gigabyte connection. I've called a few friends in the U.S and around Canada...same issue. NFPS, different portals, different service providers, different devices...all on Ethernet with over 100MBPS connections.
It's all good though...I know it will get fixed. The service is so cheap and I get my moneys worth and then-some. I post things not to complain, but for awareness. Once again...thanks.

Hmmmm, it's not just Nfps, it's Rocket also...! Just spent a couple of hours at Me Friends Place and She is having problems also...! Channels, Freezing, Looping Back and Starting Over and even going back to Main Server Log-in Screen(AVOV)...! Only One Chnl was working A-OK and I'm not gonna Jinx it by saying which one it is and I Hope No One else does either..!
Chnl 92=E4 Freezing,
104=5USA Freezing,
130=CBS Action Freezing and Looping,
134=FOX HD showing 150=FS1. Oh, Yeah,
122 Syfy was doing the Loopy Loop also...
Just checked it quick to see if it was just UK Chnls or USA Chnls also, seems to bee Both Locales...! Going Up One Chnl for a little bit Helps but same actions repeat, going Down One Chnl for little Bit and then Back has the same effect...! Didn't Check many as 4me was there for another reason...!

4me Really Believes that More would Speak Up as over 70 have viewed this thread alone...! Guessing maybe They see it as being talked about and are Hoping it will bee Resolved soon as this is a Long Weekend in the States with Lots of Specials on...! Esp when They see that You, crazed 2.4 is involved...! :cool:

The members here know when to post , sometimes where to post is crazy... but members know that too.

Yep, You be Right, Thread Views don't Mean a Thing...! Over 200 Views with only 18 Posts and the Service isn't any Better than it was Yesterday...! Dropping Your Nic Didn't Help either so Won't bee doing that anymore...!

Having same issue since this morning on my IPTV too... Seems like all US Channels are freezing, looping then going off...
Thanks Kens. Unfortunately, I've done this a long time ago. But good post for those that have buffering issues in general. Also, there are a couple repos out there that have wizards that auto create and config the Advancedsettings.xml based off your available memory. It's great...I haven't had buffering in years. :)
Whatever the issue was, it seems to be fixed.

Truthfully it has gotten much better. There hasn't been downtime in months. Some of the channels are back to normal now too.

Very few TV channels working for the last week - movies working fine.
Tried IPTV reset several times, many reboots, left off for hours then reload, even software reload.
Have a few news channels, weather and a few foreign channels.
Any other ideas?

The working channels you mentioned are probably the open channels that always work (external URL's, not from Server)
You are obviously not getting Authorization when attempting to watch the regular channels.
Check your Donation is valid, shut down your system completely then do an IPTV Reset, then reboot your system.
If you still don't connect, send a PM to a Moderator with your credential information.
They will either be able to correct the problem or give you more info.
*If you have changed anything with your ISP, this may cause problems also.

Just to confirm you are not being blocked by your ISP, Enter your server /portal URL into a browser.
If you get the Message "Your STB is Blocked, Call Provider", then your Server URL is NOT blocked.
If you get an Error 404 or similar message, you are being blocked by ISP for that URL.
*Also check that your ISP Lock is Off and Country Lock is On. (if ISP lock is on, you will not connect if you are using a new ISP).

The service here sees your request but recognizes your device (browser) is not an approved device for streaming, so it rejects your request. Roughly translated: Your request reached the service here and had you been using a proper streaming device, you would have received the stream.
"If you get an Error 404 or similar message, you are being blocked by ISP for that URL."
Your request never reached the service here because something is blocking you. Roughly translated:. Even if you were using the proper device, you would not have received the stream because your request never reached the service here.

similar issues going on here for a few weeks now. all channels load and play normally for about 2-5 minutes then will timeout/freeze and ill get dropped back to the channel list. i can click the channel and it will play for another 3-5 minutes then timeout again. same sympton on both my ShieldTV and PC using latest kodi stable.
