Issue with XStream Codes v2.9 - TV SERIES and DOL2

So, good old xstream codes changed their API, and now TV Series is done differently. The MAG can handle, but there is no separate section in the DOL2 Application (Like for Radio), but there is in the MAG. Basically, it is still a VOD, just done differently. Will DOL2 update to support this new change in XStream Codes?

DOL2 does support different Category headings. I can create categories thru an m3u file and then load up on DOL2 and the categories do show up.

Depends on if categories are added or not.

You can add category tags to any movie (VOD) with any tag you want, like TV Series for example.
In the channel-line description (the m3u channel line), you would add the category to each channel individually.
If the category of any particular VOD is labeled as "Movies", simply change that to "TV Series" or what ever the case may be.
The DOL2 will pick up on these new categories (thru and edited Playlist) and show them as such. You can open that category and see all the VODs in that particular category.
That would be with using the playlist thru the DOL2 Playlist Portal.
Using the DOL2 thru the MAC attached method (not Playlist), then the categories you get are what has been put in place by the guy at the service administration level that is adding the movies. Because it is the movies themselves that need the tags added and not the actual Player (DOL2 or xtreme)
Those categories thru NFPS vod services and thru the MAC attached method are ...

So the question becomes,,, what iptv service are you using ?
Is this Rocket or NFPS or iptv66 or OTHER.

With that m3u Playlist, the English VOD are only included and their categories are extensive and do show up thru the DOL2 and the Playlist Portal

We are using "OTHER" for IPTV type, but, Xstream Codes now does this in a different way, and TV Series are in the TV series new category, which is not picked up by DOL2.

GSE also doesnt, but that is a different story and another thread. It wont pick up the TV Series, even though under the VOD Bouquet. (http://prntscr.com/j965js)

Of course their IPTV Smarters work, as well as MAGs, but DOL2 does not. This explains the same thing with Fomuler, which helps answer my question: http://prntscr.com/j98gq2
