So I have a good one. My soundbar and stb must have similar I.R. frequencies. My soundbar remote raises the volume on my tv but lowers the volume on the stb. If I press the number 4 from dreamlink remote it lowers the volume on the Vizio soundbar. Any advice on possible solutions.

Black tape over the ir on the tv and soundbar?

stb is the issue as it does the same on both of my tvs i have as well.

So I got a better work around then covering ir sensors. Amazon sells a wireless keyboard, it uses a usb transmitter. You plug that into the dreamlink and use the keyboard. What makes it nice is for showbox where you need the mouse function it has a touch pad like a laptop. So scrolling through showbox is much easier. Since it uses the usb transmitter it doesn’t interfere with the tv. I’ve been using it for about a week now and it’s been solid. It’s about 20 bucks on amazon it’s a mini keyboard.
