If everyone that had the problem of freezing would do the same thing, I'm pretty sure the results would be freezing gone. The same holds true to if you only have internet for roaming around. Tell the ISP either fix it or you will go elsewhere. Technically throttling is a breech of contract. If you have "Unlimited service" at a certain advertised speed, slowing that speed down is limiting the service I don't care what the "contract" says. False advertising would be another angle against them. The problem is people in general just don't want the hassle and keep quiet so the ISP continues to do the throttling simply because we allow them to get away with it.. Even if they are the only carrier in your area, they don't know that. The threat to leave carries a lot of weight. I know. Every year I call to dicker price. I tell the truth. Fixed income. Either the service fits the budget or goodbye. Service here is around 60+ a month for unlimited service. I get it for 27. Not bad for talking to them once a year. So in my humble opinion, light up the customer service lines your ISP has and let them do the job they are paid for. Remember when talking to them that you catch more flies with honey. Keep the vinegar to yourself. Have a great day! :)
