mag 250 freezing/lagging usa and uk channels only

hello everyone about 2 weeks ago my mag 250 started to freeze alot but only on the USA and uk channels.
does anybody has any suggestions on how to fix it.
should i try a factory reset or should i update to the next firmware.or maybe downgrade.
when i go to update it tells me that i have the latest update.

i have a wireless set up ( 50 mb). thanks in advance
