My Buzz 3000XPL is stuck on a new update this morning. I selected HIDE and it allows you to the device but will pop up again in 30 minutes or so. My concern is that it does not complete the Update.

It is another disaster update. Reports of it bricking units all over. Turn auto update off in your settings and wait until they rectify the problem. Who are the software engineers at Buzz? Colonel Klink and SGT Schultz?

Seems like it too late for many people who didnt turn off auto update. Their boxes are already stuck on the update screen. Anyone got any solutions ?

These boxes are not attempting to an update. These are stuck on factory reset screen option to reset from cache, backup, Erase and start etc. No matter which ever option I choose it goes back to same screen and this is what I am hearing from many people.

Yes I did and within few seconds its comes back to same screen without attempting to do anything. I even press the reset button at the bottom of the box but no solution.
Only thing i can think of is that it might be their OTA server down or something else.

if you have reset from bottom then yes you have to get it replaced
the update screen was interrupted Sometimes it takes a while for the update to begin I had to power off a couple of times to get the update to start but once it begins it will update

the only way to fix these boxes and bring them back in to working condition is for buzz to post the firmware on their web site so owners of these boxes can take off the firmware and put it on a usb or an sd card and run it into there box from the recovery mode screen thats the only way to bring those box back up

turned my box on and it came up to main menu so I clicked on settings and unticked auto update. I remember the last time their was an update mine just sat there for at least an hour or two and i finally unplugged it and when it came back on it updated in no time at all. Once an update starts it seems to work ok but getting it to start not so good. i was hoping they would have fixed that part by now.

NBS all good now, One of the box seems to be bricked but all the others started updating late last night. Because of site rules I cant use some words but all I can say about 6-7 friends were having problems. These friends are not computer Savvy so as i was getting feedback from them so I was posting and asking you for the solutions. I am not the one (someone called me dump though) who pressed factory reset in the bottom it was one of the friend.
This site is very useful and helpful. Mostly people come here to get help which means they do not know what to do and that's the reason they come here ! Really do no want to say much but you and Crazed are the best and helpful as always.

uninstall the version that you have on and install an older version and you will be good to go use the previous version prior to this one.
