This is an updated addon as a replacement for PotatoTV, with updated EPG Guide sources and built-in Channel re-numbering.
*Requires only a Donation# and for you to select your Server/Portal

***Instructions are based on the Confluence skin. Adjust accordingly.

Open Kodi.
*(Uninstall PotatoTV if previously installed).
Disable all PVR Clients.
Copy the URL Link to the Add-on, and enter the link in a browser.

On Mediafire, click the Green download button.
Dialog box will appear. Check the "Save" selection and click OK. File is saved to your Download directory

Go to System/ Settings/ Addons

Click Install from Zip file.

Go to your Download Directory.

Click on "plugin.video.IPTVXtra.zip
Add-on will install.

Go to Home Screen/ Video/ Video Addons/

On IPTVXtra, Right click or Long Click (long left mouse click) (Android)
Click Settings

Click Server Portal and select your Portal.
Click Donation and enter your Donation# and click Done.

Click Filter and set your preferences

Then click PVR Client and click EPG Source and select Kens (only choice right now)

Click OK
Your Settings are now Saved.

Exit out and launch the Video add-on.

Click IPTV and go through the choices until you get a list of Channels.
Go Back and click VOD. Go through until you get a list of Videos.
Go back and Click Settings: PVR Simple Client.
*It should confirm OK at bottom right.

Exit and Go to System Settings/ Addons/ My Addons/ PVR Clients/ IPTV Simple client.
Click Enable.

Your Channels and Guide will Load.

Access your TV channels from the TV menu item on the Home screen.
Access the VOD features by clicking VOD in the IPTV Xtra Video addon.

I was sure I posted my question here but I don't see it so I'll ask again.
I tried a few times to install iptvxtra. I followed all the instructions but channels and guide won't load. At the PVR simple client settings I'm not getting the response"done". The wheel is turning and stop. I can watch the channels from the add-on but not from the "TV" menu

Unbelievable. All I needed is a good night sleep. I woke up today, clicked again PVR settings and I got the response PVR settings done. And now it's loading.
Only problem is the guide for the networks is not up to date

Problem has affected a lot of Addons.
even Netflix and other approved addons, stopped functioning until a fix was released.
I am just going to continue writing my addon, instead of wasting time patching up this one.

Thanks kens your efforts are appreciated I have one set up working with the addon on pc with guide one still working with potato tv on android. and lea 18 only the addon working no s/ client on a new android thank you so much

kens.. need help installing IPTVXtra. I download the zip from this file http://www.mediafire.com/file/hk8dlul927ndasg/plugin.video.IPTVXtra.zip and after
I installed that zip, I opened the plugin, and it is empty, no files. Is there another zip file to use?

saw the post on the new release, and will install from there.
