Kind of a hint, not realy but may help keep you on the right track!!!
It is defiantly a structure.
There for the name of a park or place would not be correct in unless the structure is mentioned.

I am getting a few that just have the place or just the structure.
Even if you had the correct structure and not where it is your answer is incorrect.

Rules are I need from you where it is and
what it is?

The Chapel of the Alamo Mission is known as the "Shrine of Texas Liberty". San Antonio, Texas.

Originally known as Misión San Antonio de Valero. It was founded in the 18th century as a Roman Catholic mission and fortress compound, and today is part of the San Antonio Missions World Heritage Site in San Antonio, Texas, United States. It was the site of the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, and is now a museum in the Alamo Plaza Historic District.

I have to give hints or I may die before this raffle is done and buzz box may be outdated.
It is very hard to find this structure on google
I am trying not to give direct hints as i did on the redneck raffle,
I felt really bad about that one. I have learned from my mistake.

its true farmer1. I'm very happy the way you run these raffles and I'm sure all us will agree with this and your hints had been quite fair. I don't see anything wrong with last raffle as well. as far this raffle I would say just setup a deadline and whoever is close to that kind of structure or has a correct city he/she will be the winner if no correct answer picked by deadline.:cool:kof

[QUOTE=Farmer1;227847]Hints so far

North America
What i'm thinking is very unique to North America
What i'm thinking is a structure
What I am thinking of is north of the Mexico - US boarder and south of the 49th parallel
Hidden hint stands outside for all the world to see

Next hint this structure is a mam made tourist attraction

No hint below this line
going to the sun road Montana

Very 1st Post :
I have traveled around North America a bit throughout my life.
We have come across some different and peculiar things in our travels.
There is one that has come to my mind

2nd Hint Post :
Post # 40 = From the 1st Post, Therefore the first hint is North America

3rd Hint Post #49 :
What I'm thinking is very unique to North America

4th Post # 65 :
I can also tell you it’s not the huge moose at Moose Jaw SK... Not Really a Hint but is a Hint as to what it is Not...!

In my mind it is a different and peculiar thing in other peoples mind it may not that is why i never listed it as a hint, at the end of the raffle you may or may not agree with that statement

I would also like to thank you for bringing the hint thing to me attention
I need to be looking for things that will not come down to the last hint just about spelling the answer out. So anyone that sees the hint will get the answer.
I now have to rethink my next idea as it might be that no one will get the answer till I spell it out (as a farmer may say hard as pulling hens teeth)

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery stands atop a hill overlooking Washington, D.C. On March 4, 1921, Congress approved the burial of an unidentified American soldier from World War I in the plaza of the new Memorial Amphitheater.

The white marble sarcophagus has a flat-faced form and is relieved at the corners and along the sides by neo-classic pilasters, or columns, set into the surface. Sculpted into the east panel which faces Washington, D.C., are three Greek figures representing Peace, Victory, and Valor. The six wreaths, three sculpted on each side, represent the six major campaigns of World War I. Inscribed on the back of the Tomb are the words:

Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to GOD...!

San Antonio River Walk. San Antonio, Texas.

The San Antonio River Walk is a network of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath the streets of Downtown San Antonio, Texas, USA. Lined by bars, shops and restaurants, the River Walk is an important part of the city's urban fabric and a tourist attraction in its own right. Today, the River Walk is an enormously successful special-case pedestrian street, one level down from the automobile street.

"South of the Border" is an attraction on Interstate 95 and US Highway 301/501 in Dillon, South Carolina, just south of Rowland, North Carolina. It is so named because it is just south of the border between North Carolina and South Carolina and is themed in tongue-in-cheek, faux Mexican style. The rest area contains restaurants, gas stations, a video arcade, and a motel, and truck stop as well as a small dilapidated amusement park with no operating rides but a mini golf course still in commission, shopping and fireworks stores. Its mascot is Pedro, a caricature of a Mexican bandido.

North America
What i'm thinking is very unique to North America
What i'm thinking is a structure
What I am thinking of is north of the Mexico - US boarder and south of the 49th parallel
Hidden hint stands outside for all the world to see
This structure is a mam made tourist attraction

The farthest east I have traveled is Highway 83 therefore what I am thinking of is West of highway 83,
If you cant find highway 83, use west of Interstate 29 to Kansas City below Kansas City use Interstate 35

Good Luck

Farmer1:p I have narrowed it down to all your clues. This is the only thing I came up with. The "CHRISTOPHER S. BOND BRIDGE" or some may call it the New Paseo Bridge. Named after the former Gov. C. Kit Bond. Kansas City, Missouri. :p:p andkaal

Kansas City is east of highway 83 not west

Over in Clearfiled, UT you'll find the Hill Aerospace Museum. With over 90 aircraft, this museum dedicated to Air Force heritage in Utah on Hill AFB is an interesting place to explore. It takes you through various stages of Air Force history, including WWII and the Cold War. The 2019 season is still up in the air, as the Raiders' new stadium is expected to take three years to build.

A report from the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee estimates the total stadium cost to be $1.9 billion.

The renderings of the stadium, via Manica Architecture and the Las Vegas Review-Journal, do portray a flashy, eye-catching stadium.

The plans show the stadium near the southern end of the Strip, the side Mandalay Bay is on...!

A lot of real nice places in this contest. Also, What a great job also adding all the pictures to them. Thanks guys..:o andkaal

Some pics depending where they have been hosted from and other dependencies, may not stay on the boards very long. I am seeing that here, with some posts from members, which they do have the image tags and the http address inserted in the tags but your image has disappeared.
If you have posted your own pic on any particular post and have since seen that that the pic has changed and Farmer or myself have shown an edit on your post. It is not because we changed the pic on you
No :)
It was because the pic had dissappeared.
But if you use the edit function on your own post, you will see your tagged http site which hosts the image is still there, but does not show the image anymore.

Some host sites will do this. The pic can be copied and posted here and seen at first, but once the image is seen to be being used outside of allowances, then it gets blocked at the hosting site (which in that case is not a host site at all) ... lol
An example of this is any image copied from roadsideamerica.com and there are others too.
Them images will at first seem okay, but they do disappear after a short time.... Due to copyright or etc...

We try using images that are small in byte or KB size too.
That's not to say that an image which is small in size, is also small in KB size. . A very large image can be smaller in KB size then a very small image.
Things like compression and other things determine the size in bytes or KBs.

Right click on any image here and then click on Image Info
There is where you will see the size in KBs or bytes. Compare a few here as to small and big as per viewed and also in KB size.
There are some on the web that can get as high as 3000 KBs or more, for an image that can be copied and pasted.
I try to use images less then 100 KB to save on bandwidth and page loading speeds... but that is not always the case :)
The more large sizeed (KB) pics on a pag,e then the longer it takes to load the page and also is using extra bandwidth.

Remember that the overall size of the viewed image (how much room it takes on the post) does not determine the KB size.

ANyway I just started this post to explain why some pics that members had posted have since disappeared and replaced another pic from a staff member , like myself (as seen thru the Edit notification).
Only because of the source host is why they disappeared.

Luv them pics, so keep posting them if you can. The smaller sized image in KBs are the beans :)

Thnx :)
