I had some freezing issues and I rebooted my modem, router and box. This helped a bit but didn't fix the issue. I thought I would try a different player and changed the player to MPV player in Settings. I changed the accelerated hardware setting from default to software. This really brought the freezing issues to a halt. Not sure if this will help fix everyone's freezing issues but its worth a try. I would also check your router settings and if there are some media, AC, beam form or priority settings in there that can be tweaked, that's worth the time to try that as well.
