its been a week without guide now .. using http://acidjesus.tk/guide.xml.. i dont know if its the new wizard i put in is the problem.

Thanks kens for all your help. I agree both do not work. I tried both also. No EPG guide. Hopefully soon we might get one. Thanks again ... andkaal:confused:
Both guides are working. Clear your guide data, shutdown and restart Kodi.

andkaal i did this and worked for.. If you guys having an issues loading the guide try to clear data for both channel and guide then delete the guide.xml file which is located:
SYSTEM->File Manager->Profile Directory->addon_data and then you'll have to choose either pvr.stalker or pvr.iptvsimple after selecting one of those delete the epgxmltv.xml file restart Kodi and the guide should load without issues.
Most likely, all you have to do is what I suggested in my last post. Yes, what you suggest will work, but it is often the long way around?

I have had no such luck! For the last several days not only was the guide (I use acidjesus') not populating, but I began to get the error ''Stalker Client unable to load channels". I changed the "tv" in the pvrstalker server address settings to "is" (new rocket settings?) and now I get the "authentication failed retrying" error. I have done an iptv reset and several clearing of channel and guide data and disabling/enabling pvrstalker client and restarting Kodi, all with the same result. What can I do next? Is the server address in pvrstalker settings to remain as "tv"? Thanks for any help you or anyone else can give!
The URL is still .tv. You'll need to reconfigure with that in mind. The guide is working.

Thank you so much for this post. I was going nuts all week trying to figure out why my guide stopped working. I used the link mentioned in the post above, cleared the data fields in KODI and it worked! I never had to delete any files.

However when I open Kodi I still get the 'Stalker Client unable to load channels" error and of course no guide. I am at a complete loss as to what to do next! Any suggestions as to what I might try? Using Kodi 17.6. Thanks in advance.
If you are using the short portal URL, try using the longer one. Make sure the URL is typed accurately. There is always the posibility that your ISP is blocking the URL. Kodi is reporting that it is not receiving a channel list. This has nothing to do with channels not authenticating. If you paste the URL that you are using into your browser, do you get some form of response from the server?

Check the setup instructions to make sure you have not missed something

"Your STB is not supported.
(a red dot) Reload Portal (a yellow dot) Account Info (a blue dot) Payment"
(PS I am NOT using an STB!)

When I enable PVR Stalker Client, the channel list loads, but not the guide. If I now restart Kodi, I get the Stalker error again about being unable to load the channel list! When I disable and then enable the PVR and restart Kodi, the channel list loads, but if I now or later restart Kodi, I get the error again!

I am sorry ilan. It was my fault for not at first providing the complete information/status surrounding the issue I was having. Please do not hesitate to share with me any further ideas you might have in respect of this issue, so hopefully I can make it go away..

kens, the "Dont Cache in Local Database" was already enabled. The connection timeout had been set at 5 but I changed it to 70. I again went through all the advice given so far but the problem still persists! Enabling the PVR and restarting Kodi loads the channel list but no guide. Another restart of Kodi gives the "Stalker unable to load channels" error. Sometimes the channl list is loaded (but no guide!) despite the error notice being displayed, while at other times the channels do not load! I have even tried a re-install of Kodi.

Channel names have been changed, affecting guide loading properly.
For stalker, set the guide settings to Remote/ prefer xmltv
and use this guide url

Ilan …. Plz check this post about missing guide data after changing to M3u playlist. I use the Acidjesuz EOPG which worked before, but is now missing data.

I haven't tested the changes because I've been busy on the home front with summer tasks. I would suspect with the changes some of the channels have been renamed at the server end, which means the EPG will no longer align with the channel list. I'm not sure when or if Acid will address the issue. Since this is a matching game (channel name at server and channel name in guide), you will have the same problem with Ken's old guide. However, it looks like Ken has created a new guide (with a new URL) to address some of the changes. See the post and URL above.

Like Ilan said some of the channels names changed so I"ll have to go back and rename those channels back to SD. We still have working guide for the UK channels and the channels in the 9000s range with some exceptions like National Geographics Channel East HD. I'll try to have it fixed by the next pull.

Outstanding Kens. A real load off my mind.
With your new EPG, here are the issues I still see:
1. No logos ===> Paramount Channel, WGN America, TSN 1 thru TSN 5, and all of the 9000 series channels
2. No guide data ====> National Geographic SD, Paramount Channel, Fox Miami, CBS News, and all of the 9000 series channels
3. The new 9000 channels that will not play ====> ESPN2 HD, Fox Sports 1 HD, Fox Sports2 HD, NFL HD, CBS Sports HD, and NBC Sports HD .
Thanks much Kens... I'm sure you will finish it all up. Way to go!

Made the necessary changes to the channels names etc. but it didn't take effect. Don't know why. Might be on servers end. I'll wait 'till next pull and we'll go from there. Been kinda busy today with my son's graduation from 8th grade.
As the channels being added in the 9000 range it seems like all of them have working guide. Like I said I'll wait till next pull and see if it gets "fixed" if not I'll have to just dive in deeper and see what's the root of the problem.
