hi, I'm new to all this. sorry if I'm all over.
i purchased iptvrocket yesterday, I don't have a guide in Kodi.. I installed couch potato and no guide either.
when it opens I see the channel list loading, but it stays at 0% then the guide loads and you see it go to 100% but nothing.
when I open couch potato tv or go to tv in kodi 17.6. I see all the channels but no information available.
I tried a few addreses in simple client for the guide. right now I have "http://acidjesus.tk/guide.xml"
can someone help?
thanks
First, I'd try the other address for that guide. It loads more quickly, in case that is the problem. If no go, follow the next bit of advice after the URL...
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/acidjesuz/EPG/master/guide.xml
If it shows the guide loading, it is probably loading, but the time you have in IPTV Simple client is either before or after the guide's contents.
Make sure your box has the correct time set, and you have the correct time zone set in IPTV Simple client. After that, if the guide is a little off, you can play with the slider to bring it in synch.

thansk for the help ilan.
it didn;t really help. I wrote them asking for a refund but haven't heard back. almost no channels work. I get a screen with all kinds of colours and clasical music playing on a lot of what i tried. I should have never got into this. but oh well.. took me $100 to learn I guess. now back to act-tv.
The channels are working. You should decide which add-on you want to use and try to get it running. If it is Potato TV, try to get it set-up. If you can't, post the steps you undertook and the issues you encountered in the Kodi > Potato TV subforum lower on the page. It isn't that tough to get it running, but as with anything new, there's going to be a learning curve.

I wanted this to use with potato tv. but i get no information guide info.
I'm trying to watch channel 90 Sky one. it's the simpsons.. but its a 5 second loop over and over. channel 93 plays for 2 min. then stops.
I guess I've been hitting a lot of the ones that don't work.
That could be. Test to see if the US channels are working at the beginning of the channel line up.
