I've asked this question on FTA66 and haven't received a reply, but everything has been down or very little working for a long time.
So, Is Rocket still doing IKS or not?
I'd really like an answer as to where Rocket and IKS will be in the near future.
Thanx, JJ

If IKS is going away I doubt I'll re-up, because I do this for the satellite. It's much better than IPTV and there are a ton of IPTV providers. If no satellite, then I'll start looking for the best alternative, including Rocket IPTV.

If I had to guess on the American market, I'd guess most would do as I would.
So, can Rocket et al compete with all the other IPTV providers on price and QUALITY of service. If the quality is good and it's a few buck more, then I think most of us would opt for quality at a few buck more.

there are two active threads dedicated to this discussion topic at fta66, yes.
I saw your thread at fta66 jjjackson, but at the same time there were two active threads discussing the exact same thing you asked about.
I saw no need to answer every new thread that came up on same topic, and there were and are a few other then yours.
They will not harbour a board full of new threads with same topic over there at fta66
Take part in the ongoing discussion already posted over there jjjackson.

Crazed 2.0, I appreciate your reply and I found one thread at FTA66, but it didn't have an answer either. If you know of an answer, please point me in the right direction.
All I'm asking for is a yes or no answer and whether or not Rocket plans to continue IKS. Not really a tough question and since this is the only true access to Rocket, I asked it here.

I found the announcement on FTA66 and it appears things don't look promising, but Crazed2.0, your right, I should have looked closer.

yup, nob0dy has the iptvTalk link which is there to help guide all our fta friends.
I had earlier put a link in that thread which leads to the announcement you mentioned jjjackson :)
And looking on the Whats New page at 66 site, will show lots of recent discussion.

it is just a matter of time before you won't see iks any longer,, with di@h moving to cardless and 301's with cam's harder to come by iptv is the way to go
as for Rocket it is well worth the money,, I have tried others not mentioned here and all and I mean all are not going to be perfect , sometimes it's user end issues and sometimes provider issues,, but the support for the 3 offered here is truly second to none, there are a lot of knowledgeable folks here that have a wealth of incite that give this forum a lot of credence
