HDMI out

Has anyone else had this problem with VIXO2, had to move unit to another location but the HDMI cable would not come out. Tried as carefully as possible to remove , when it finally came out the metal housing came out(not completely) with it. Can no longer use, only had for 2 days. Opened ticket at Avov.tv/hope they can help:(

i have so many hdmi cables and yea it hard to get out new on my tv np to take off weird that it pull out but they will fix your problem

Thanks for the reply guys, hope they do, i just ordered another VIXO2 on saturday and also hove 2 VIXO1(you can tell i like their product)

my vixio 2 came with its own hdmi cable .. if I was in that situation I would have un plugged the hdmi from the tv instead of the Avov

look should not of happen which end you pull off he will be fine

I've had all my a/v and ethernet cables installed in my walls, was moving it to different TV, didn't have much choice.

Just received second box that i purchased on Sat., same problem. 2 of 3 ports are very tight. almost couldn't get cable out of video out port. Seems that the tabs at bottom of port that connect with cable are too big and/or the cable housing(on unit) is too small. Used cable that came w/unit , shouldn't matter though. Don't have this problem w/any other equip. that i have. Still like the unit though.

hdmi port should all be the same i dont move my box stays where it at but still should not have that problem make a ticket to them and tell them the problems your having

Thanks ASFT, did mention the problem to them. Seems the contacts at the bottom of the ports (that make contact with the cable) are a bit too big. Ports should not be that tight, none of my other equip. w/HDMI have this issue. Sure it will be resolved
