Mag256 newbie - I'm a bit green too!

Got a new Mag256 last week. It's up and running and works well overall. It's a big step forward from the clunky VU+ Duo (I realise it's primary thing wasn't to run IPTV).

I've 2 questions which I'd appreciate a bit of help with:-

1/. Pause/rewind live tv. Does the availability of this vary from one IPTV service provider to another? I'm just using a simple USB memory stick and have the setting enabled.

2/. Mag256 Box is downstairs and beside the router. I used be able view IPTV upstairs on a laptop through the Enigma2 device using E Channelizer which was great. Is there an equivalent for the Mag256?

Any advicce or observations welcome.

pause live TV does not work onj the mag and this service.

For wifi on the mag256 , i believe you would need to add a WiFi dongle of some sort... unless that mag256 is a mag256 w1 or w2... those models have wifi built in.
