Glitches causing video rewind

Hi,
I am experiencing a problem with streaming video on several systems all with the same symptom
On most but not all channels the stream will stop for a couple of seconds then resume but it will playback the last scene over again just like I pressed rewind.
This happens on Mag254 with sub, perfect player with good link, lazy iptv etc. I was thinking it could be my internet wifi but it plays netflix and amazon without the hiccup.
I even had my android box with perfect player running ethernet right out of the modem and it still happened anyone have this problem?

Yes, this has been happening for me/my friends on 3 MAG254 STB's for several months, all hard-wired with 75Mbps to 150Mbps connections.
Some have speculated it's the sub-par stalker middleware/firmware running on the MAG254 STB's that's not very tolerant of the variable conditions between the content source and the STB's.

Myself and 2 friends/family members have had the MAG254 STB's for 2 years, and they generally seem to work ok, but this annoying repeat/rewind issue has become more prevalent over the past 7 to 8 months, and we're now looking into 2 different box alternatives which, according to members/staff here and on the sister site, and from my own personal observation over a recent 3-week period, seem to be more tolerant of the conditions of this service.
