Updated for 2000 + 3000 ( fixed a couple bugs) sent a couple hours ago

Change List for XPL 1000 + 2000 + 3000*


1. Fixed Vod crashing bug

2. Fixed Fast Forwarding bug in VOD + Catch-up

3. Fixed EPG time bug that caused wrong data + other EPG bugs.*

4. Fixed a lot of minor bugs

5. Increased user interface performance


6. Updated Live TV/Catch-up/VOD info bar*

7. Added new Single EPG Menu. It can now be accessed from Live TV or Channel list by pressing the right arrow remote button

8. Updated Catch-up TV Menu for easier use

9. Updated EPG Grid

10. Updated Video Players for better performance

11. Added "Resume" Feature to VOD.*

12. Added Rewind feature for live TV on Catch-up enabled TV channels.*

13. Allowed access up to 5 days of Catch-up from EPG + Single EPG + Channel List

14. Can now Lock or*favorite any channel in full screen mode

15.* Added on screen buttons to all info bars, can be accessed by pressing the left arrow remote button

I wonder why my xpl3000 update came so early. It was pushed to mine since Tuesday evening.

You don't need to reset your box. Either restart it or manually check for updates.

Still have not received new update. My box still has the old buzztv logo.

When I tried a manual check for update, I got a connect fail message.

Just do a factory reset and it will work. That's what I had to do.

You shouldn't have to factory reset to get a new update, they need to fix that.

I think he factory reset because he chose to, there is no way users of a box would have to do that to receive an update. Last time my box got an update it popped up just as soon as I entered the app to watch tv.

Has anyone else had an issue with catchup since the update. If I try to scroll back from the present on the epg it will jump back at least a day, I have no way of getting to shows from the last few hours.

go to home ,settings,apps,buzztv
version number is listed

Still have not received the new update.

I finally decided to update, go into the buzz app, hit the three lines button the remote and go to check for updates. Just let the box do its thing, it will reboot.

Thats the version of the box...............you want to look at the version of the Buzztv APP

If you can't find the answers to a question you asked in a thread I don't know if you will actually find the version number of the buzz app. It's the same thing as finding stuff on your android phone.

FYI: on my remote I think the three line button might have been replaced with the word "menu"
and to find the version number I have to go to settings/more/apps/system apps/buzz tv2/and a screen pops up with option to force stop/uninstall and that is where a icon with buzz tv2 has the version number. Also the clear cache, data, and uninstall options.

If I right click or left click the buzz app in the home menu/apps it starts live tv

I have the XPL3000 with Express and I like it but it won't accept the adult password. And I can't set the Parental control password. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
