New to IPTV

I currently have Spectrum internet and their 100 mbps plan. I understand IPTV isn't perfect but is it really necessary to have any faster of an internet speed? For $20 a month more I can get 200 mbps.

Will that help with any potential buffering or is it just a waste of money at that point?

waste of money at that point, yes.
Moderate speeds should and do get SD or average quality streamed content with little issues.

The thing is more then just speeds thou..... bottlenecking, blocking, restrictions and etc... and never count the iptv service out for blame either.
