New Movies On VideoClub Have No Sound

The regular channels have sound, but the new stuff on VideoClub has no sound.

About the last half dozen films added to VideoClub have no sound. Does anybody ever check anything? Does anybody doing this stuff even care?

I checked them last time you reported this jjjackson. There were no issues then and not now either bud.
Unless I am not testing the same channels that you have, they have sound here.

I tried looking at a few of the last ones entered and no sound in any of them. The one from a few days ago worked fine. I'll try them again.

I have a Dreamlink HD. No sound on movies from Baby Driver through Churchill on my Samsung TV or my HT system in the living room. Everything else seems to work fine. Please check'em out and let me know what you find. If there's a problem, I doubt it's on my end.

I rebooted my Mag254 a second time and a couple of the problem channels had sound.

Clearly there is a problem and I think it's on your end. Why would only a few movies have a problem when some before and after work perfectly?

The first new 4 movies don,t work yet. It show no server but some times it takes a few days. But all the rest work fine.

No problems on my end. Although I had to leave baby driver part way through and later when I reopened it and fast forwarded to where I left off there was no audio. I will try it again later.

Are they using a different format for some films?

What I'm thinking is that there is some kind of coding that prevents some software from decoding the sound on playback. Some may work and others STB's won't. I think you might need to redo some of the files you bring in.

I've noticed that some stuff I get online allows me to play sound live, but not play sound on a downloaded copy on my mac.

Is Rocket going to do anything about the no sound problem?

I had that problem with my new mag 254 running r19. Had no sound on the new movies in the Video Club. I went into settings and installed the r19 again. Now i have no more problems with the sound. The movies on r14 always work so it could be some thing in the r19 software.

Reloading the software solved the problem for me too.

on mag 254 I do a reboot and I get sound but as soon as I want to watch another movie I have to reboot again just on movies with no sound that's what works for me on my mag give it a try and see if it works for u

If your running the r19 software in your mag 254 go into settings and let it load the r19 again. This should get your sound back. Had this problem also but now it works great.
The r14 should be fine.

We are on it and have been on it.
For one example and there are many, but one example is that 4wheelin puts in an average of 2 or 3 hours dealing with spam, every morning. I mention 4wheelin because we generally do not see him post much and we could even take it for granted that he does not come online much.. But that would be so wrong.
Like I say, every morning for 1 or 2 or even 3 hours, he is on here dealing with spammers that may have taken up root while all others were sleeping.
And all done for you :)

All staff do the same. And now all staff have a bit more options to help them deal with spammers at a faster rate with less work for staff member.
You may have noticed that all staff are now shown in Blue... that is the Super Mods color :)

All of my mag254's have the same problem. Rebooted 3 times and it began to work
