Question on connection

Hello guys & gals,
i have a question of general knowledge for those who are well informed or like to test something different, has any of you tried to connect any of your devices (not MAG's, AVOV's or any dedicated STB) to a TV? meaning cell pone or Tablet with emulator, to see if can Project what you have on screen to TV, because i know with a computer or laptop is not big deal, but what about these devices? any ideas?
