question under servers it only shows the url is this normal? it doesnt show anything else or is the box locked to the current provider im with?

each portal has two lines, the name and the url lines, if not you're box needs updating, the current firmware is 218r11, thks..

Some what related question. I don't have a MAG254, but I am using Kodi with the IPTV Stalker add-on and Simple IPTV PVR add on on a HTPC (laptop really, connected to TV)to get the Live TV option in Kodi. So when this server becomes paid, do I have to register the MAC address of my HTPC to continue to have this Live TV work.

Also, why does this Kodi setup not instantly play the next channel when channel flipping ? My neighbour has this MAG254 box and not sure which IPTV Server service and when he is changing channels, the new channel loads almost instantly. We both have broad band connections.

Is it just the way the MAG254 hardware works versus Kodi which is not really for live TV ? I don't want to buy MAG254 as that is all it does. Their Android version of the box is not very popular, otherwise, I could have got that and loaded Kodi as well as IPTV.

new iptv customers do pay full for each donation, like a few people ive got my mac address for the pc and still waiting on a confirmation that when private side becomes active the option will be open to use kodi via pc as well which they dont see it being an issue "fingers crossed" but dont forget unless its made offical and a repo or an updated/maintained plugin is taken on board then the plugin will stop working.

Now I've paid for this, I'm going to have a bitch. This site is one of the least user-friendly I've ever encountered. It's crying out for an "idiot's guide" for all I see are the same questions asked time and time again for the same reason - it's difficult in the extreme to actually find any answers! As well as not being able to link my MAC no to my donation, I've looked for a way to register at papiao.is and gone round in endless loops without success.
I've emailed papiao to get an answer to how do I link, but I really shouldn't need to be doing that - clear - and accurate - information needs to be on the site.

a donation is good for one mac addy, you can't link a donation to more than one mac. you have two separate transactions to perform with 2 donations...

make sure you are entering everything correctly, even one incorrect digit/letter will cause error

if you still can't get it to work forward me or any other staff member your donation info and we will look into it for you

does your donation number work on your iks box? or are you really in the UK like your location says?

I don't have anything but a MAG (I hope I'm getting this over), using the free server - but the Rocket link shows that my donations are already counting down from the original 366 days allocated when I bought them, even though I've got no other service. So, how do I link my donations so that (i) I don't find myself facing a blank screen, and (ii) I get the full year from the day the paid iptv service goes live?

I'm becoming quite exasperated here, mainly with this issue, but also the rate at which UK Channels are falling over - but that's for another thread.

well if rocket is counting down that means you purchased rocket donations, ,different service than iptvprivateserver

If you linked them to your MAC and tried watching tv they are now active.

You couldve waited until it goes live to purchase if you wanted 365 days of IPTV. You are paying for IKS + IPTV, there is no IPTV only option.

No reason you should see a blank screen, free trial is working great, no need to link donations yet

If it's still not working follow the Mag setup guide in the Mag section

if you havent linked the mac addresses then it should not be counting down. Normally the rocket doesn't start counting down until it is activated, regardless of when it was purchased. Did you order it from IKSRocket.com?

Kronik, I have to disagree, the countdown for the donation starts from the purchase date, since it is the same donation (IKS + iptv) but having said that drewstew, you will only pay the iptv for the remaining days until your year is up. When you add it all up, it does not make a big difference, example total cost is $105 for one year (iptv + iks) and say it might take 3 months before the trial ends (I am just guessing), that means you will loose $5.83 per month (IKS postion only since you did not pay for iptv yet), that totals to $17.50 lost.

Here's what I got when I purchased my donations (Donation details blanked out). NOT from a reseller. Bought direct from site and got royally ripped off on $ to £ conversion. Billed £83.14 on conversion which is $132 at current rates. This whole experience leaves a sour taste.

hi i have several mag 254 boxes and donation codes from nfps on saturday 9th january 2016 several boxes stopped working and a message Please contact your service provider appeared on the TV screen the donation code have 265 days remaining i tried restoring the code to the mac and ts telling me mac address already exists please assist me with this issue thanks

unlink the MAC then wait a couple minutes and then link the MAC again and then reboot the Mag receiver.
