Thanks NBS.
How do you record the live tv?
Do you just press the Red PVR button on the remote?
Cause I did and it asked me to "mount an external drive" ?
And, once recording is done, where do I go to find and play my recordings?
Thanks
Thanks NBS.

When I go there, all I get is a Black screen with Pvr video on the left top corner of the screen and "Long Press "ok" to Del Video File" on the top right corner of the screen and nothing else of my recording list ?!!

not many have this box yet.
NBS and a couple staff here do have it. I do not thou.
But it sounds like either that seagate is not compatable or maybe change the usb port it is plugged into.
Unplug the Global box first before switching the USB port.

I got the Global Media Box to be able to record on a USB stick for live video. Do you guys think that at some point EPG timer based pvr will be recorded. Its kind of useless to be able to record video as you are watching.

Just purchased a Global Media Box last night. Works great!! Found out that as you stated, you can press the red PVR button to instantly record and stop recording what you are watching OR press the "F1" button to bring up a pop up screen to enter in times and duration of recording. Obviously you have to have an external drive already plugged into the USB port at the back. Records to a "TS" file which is playable on computers.
Hopefully this helps.:)
