how to stream movies from android to roku

you must have localcast on your android phone or tablet ....

this is how you set up localcast to stream to Roku
download localcast from google play store

click on local cast
click on gold button
click on change
discovery options
search for
dlna (smart tv,xbox,and much more )

Roku (check box)

apple tv

click on ok



now open up cartoon hd app
click on movie you want to watch
click on video ..
then click on custom
click on local cast
this might take a few seconds
you will see it on the Roku ...then the movie will play

this will also set up on terrariumtv or showbox ....


to me this is better and faster than using your chromecast


how to stream movies from kodi on android to Roku ..

download kodi caster from google play store

open up kodi caster enable it ..then close it out ..

open kodi click on the movie you want to watch ...

then the server if you are not on auto play .

localcast will open up then click on play


not all addons will play ...just keep clicking on your kodi addons untill you find the right one

I have the 30.00 Roku ,and I can do more with it than chromecast ..it streams better no buffering and better video quality

this is the best way to stream movies from showbox on a android phone ...and i enjoy putting things in the forum ....2 weeks later some one put my idea on youtube and they are making a lot of money off of some one else idea .....i rather share my info than make money off of other people ....always remember you heard this first on iptvtalk ..
