Lots of Freezing

Hi my MAG 254 was working fine yesterday, but tonight lots of freezing I have rocket...anyone else?:confused:

I am. Also getting the same thing. I have a mag 254. The network was fine until 2 weeks ago and it's gotten way worse. I have tested the network on my end with speed tests and I'm fine 242 up and 36 down. But the site keeps glitching. Every channel everyday. It's unwatchable. Please help.

Yep service freezing a lot plus a lot of channels not working if it do open, sound playing but no picture only music icons on the screen

my mag 254 is a dust stopper,don't use it in months ,one would think that the service would improve by now.

I'm not sure as to what the problem is or why so many are posting about freezing issues. I have tried various channels, ( some are down), but freezing doesn't appear to be an issue ?
Perhaps increasing the buffer values, setting up quality of service for your box on your router ? uninstall present software and go back to older emulator or software ? Try changing something and check for any improvements.

There are a lot of things that can be the cause, if it were the service, why am I not having the same freezing issues ? I get my service from rocket server with no freezing ?

Good point... I've been using rocket since inception Did not renew because having better service with nfps. So I need to subscribe to every service to hope something works. GREAT

I "think" the problem may relate to the Mag boxes as they may be connecting to their own servers ? I tested a Mibox which I bought from China and loaded with Chinese software which was used to connect to services in China. Since it uses Lollipop 5.1, it was easy to root with Kingroot and dump most of the apps or software. I installed the latest emulator and configured it and voila, it runs as smooth as any box out there and provides HD right up to UHD picture and it runs on 2gb 8gb memory.......same amount as the Mag boxes but no freezing ? This is why I "think it may relate to the Mag box servers ?

I have only had a Mag. When system is working it does too. When system is acting up, so does the Mag. I am pretty sure they don't have a server just for Mags.

Hey Everyone

The freezing has been Brutal the last few nights and its totally unwatchable tonight , I tried going into Media Player and switching to auto from ljk and it didnt help .

any suggestions or are we all freezing ? running an F5 Mini and a mygica

Alright! I figured out what was causing my freezing! Got fed up. So just for giggles I called my Internet Provider. Told them I was having trouble with my "Netflix" time and was getting upset. They checked the lines. Guess what? Speed was fluctuating badly. Swinging from 6 meg to less than one. (I only have 6 meg service in the sticks where I live. But have no problems when it's working.) Any way, they sent out a serviceman. He checked the lines. Speed was fine. Then he let me know that there were "Splicers" working in the area and that would cause a speed problem. He also informed me that their work would not be done till December so service will be this way till then. Checking with others in the neighbourhood I found that they too were having intermittant problems like me. So much for the service. I now check the connection with my Android box and Kodi. Every time I have issues with the service, I check the droid. Guess what? They both don't work. Definitely the IP service. Mystery solved! I will add... if you think it is the service check WGN News. I have found that channel always is smooth if service is working. Just letting everyone know what I experienced.
