Favourite channels disappearing

Hey people,

I have an issue with saving favourite channels on DOL. There have a been a couple instances where my favourite channels were erased.

I would save channels as favourites. But then a day or two later, when I check the Favourite group, the channels are gone (no longer saved). Can anyone help me out with this issue?

This has been discussed before. Search the forums for the official answer from CaptainKangaroo. In short, the favourites are saved on the server, not your T1. If you make a favourites list and leave it alone, it will stay the same and work fine forever. If you try to add channels to that favourite list, the server will remove the older favourites from your list when you log out, leaving only the new channels you have just added.

Simple solution is to make a master list of your favourite channels and keep it somewhere...I have mine saved as a note in my MacBook. If you want to add more channels to that list, delete all, exit the server, log back in and save ALL of your favourites again, including the new ones.

What Mano9423 said is correct. The favs are stored on the server. I too cant find the post about it. It should be a Stickied post but its not... its here somewhere.
