Help with KODI HEVC settings

As with a lot of people, Movies in HEV on KODi 17.3 have audio and video problems. Does anyone have an easy way to make KODI HEVC streams more playable? Are there
any KODI settings that will help?

A lot of variables to take into consideration in order to answer that. Depends on your equipment.

But:
You can set up the option to use an external player in Kodi (playercorefactory.xml). Another option is to use a nightly build that is 64 bit (leia)
