In the new version of KODI 17.3 I have to turn up the gain for each movie or TV show I haven't found a way to retain the GAIN or Audio amplification settings, if anyone can guide me to a solution I would appreciate it.

After you adjust the audio, down at the bottom of the screen you will see "Set as default for all media". Click on that and you won't have to adjust every time anymore.
