Hi Y'all.
As my mag254 hasn't been able to show a correct EPG for the last couple of months, and most of what I read, makes it appear that it's the fault of the box...... so.... As I'm getting ready to renew my NFPS, I was thinking about buying a different stb to renew with, since it appears that all other boxes seem to not be having problems with the EPG, and this issue relates only to the MAG254. Most of what I've read says that the MAG254 is not going to be able to update any time soon due to memory limitations and programming issues.
SO..... any recommendations on other boxes which have been pretty good at maintaining service, epg, and ease of use? I've used the MAG254 for a couple of years, but think it's time to move on now.. The NFPS service seems to be as good as any, so I think just renewing with new equipment might keep me happy for another year. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
