think I did make myself clear, sorry about that so let me explain myself again, i'm trying to watch a video from the USB (ntfs or Fat), I can play fine the video but the subtitle file (.SRT) i think is not recognized by the firmware which is the newest updated, also there is no option to choose subtitle option or even audio option, that is weird considering its android box, I have always been able with android systems to have audio or subtitle option., the mag254 does give option and reads subtitles fine. hope this is fixed in coming updates.

This subtitle option is only available when you watch a TV show from the install programs they offer.
When the show starts loading, press Guide button, if any available they are going to show up, no option from USB, as far as I know.

I have bought a MAG254. I have watched a movie via external hard disk. The subtitles are in .srt but it doesn't play the subtitles. Why? Do I have to do something? I don't know in wich format the external hard disk is (fat or ntfs). Does that matter?

Please can somebody help?
