Thinking of getting the 256. Am I better of with the 254?

Hello everyone, I'm very new to up iptv and one of the devices I strongly considered was the mag 256 because it seems to be a more recent product so perhaps better performance and experience ... after reading a few thread, 85 seems that perhaps I'm better off with a 254. Is this a correct assumption or not ?

Mag256 - Faster box, supports h265 hardware decoding. Only compatible with Stalker servers that are on version 5.0 and above (not all providers have updated to 5.0). Recording doesn't work through the Stalker portal.

MAG254 - Slightly slower, no h265 (doesnt matter right now - never seen h265 streams). Records in the Stalker portal no problem as long as the portal/server supports it. Can be used with any/all Stalker portals. Not limited to version 5.0 and higher - any will work.


So I would recommend the 254 if you are new to this. You'll have less problems, and have a more stable experience.

Bonjour, le MAG 256 w1 excellent sur tout les niveaux, si, c'est un problème, c'est plutôt une cause du serveur que vous utilisez, la stabilité du serveur est primordial pour le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil, pour le test contactez moi en Pm, merci
