Renew my donation

It's time for me to renew my donation.
Last year, a Mod suggested that I just buy a new donation
as there were issues with renewing.
I have two questions. Which method is more reliable? Should I
renew or should I buy a new donation?
Also, last year I used a pr-paid Visa that I purchased from my bank(RBC)
My bank no longer sells them, but local drug stores do (Shoppers Drug Mart).
How can I be sure it's good for International purchases? I asked at the store but,
they only said they "think" it's good for International purchases.
Does anyone know where I can buy one in Ontario that will work?

I have heard that Canada Post has the correct pre-paid cards that will work internatiionally

Thanks crazed 2.0, You were right I called Canada Post
and they do have the correct card.
Now...should I renew or buy a new donation?
I really don't want to have to change all my numbers in
my MAG or go through whatever process it takes to
get a new donation number working.
It seems to me just renewing should be seamless and
I won't have to muck with my settings.
I'm not very technical, and when I am able to get things to
work, It's more luck than skill.
Please advise. Thanking you in advance.
