View Full Version : No Service - Assistance Needed

Guys I could really use your help. I have not had service now for about 2 days. The portal loads fine and I can see the channel list but whenever I select a channel none of them load. I have tried the following things to solve the problem and nothing works:
1) Multiple iptv resets
2) Changed the portal
3) Removed the MAC address
4) Downgraded and upgraded the software
5) Multiple reboots of the portal and the box
Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated cause I am at my wits end. I am using a vpn because my ISP has blocked the service but the service was working until about 2 days ago on the vpn and the vpn is still fine ni changes.

I forgot to add that I am using a MAG254 on a 60 mb connection

Likewise over the last 2 weeks the service has been terrible and for the past 2 days nearly all UK channels down MAG254.
Portal change just gives me P3 or P5, never P1, P2 or P4.
When will the upgrade be completed?

Take the MAG and a hammer and ...See where I'm going with this !
Get a good Android STB and run with KODI.
Majority of problems appear to be with MAG's, and upgrading software on a low resource platform is pointless.
If TV is important to you, spend $75 and dont look back.
Just my opinion.

Your posts are not only condescending but insulting as well and I think you should check yourself before you continue with this line of 'help' in the forum.
I have a Minix Neo that has always worked just fine, however in the past many days almost no UK channels work. The same goes with using the service on Kodi, no matter the version.
Again, I wish you would watch your tone and not assume that people want to continue to throw good money after bad for something that seems to continually degrade with each 'upgrade'!

Hi friend! How are you today? Ok, first of all, I want to apologize for those who doesn't respect your approach to look for help. I'm totally against ppl bashing and trashing the service without ask. But you, my friend, did it the right way. I recommend first to try your account on a computer. Download a playlist loader like VLC and try it. For that, you'll need to erase your mac addres and copy/paste the option "generic m3u" on the account panel list. Once you get your file downloaded, drag and drop it to your vlc app and see if it works. If it get to work, then try again and run it on the stb. If not, I recommend to contact the staff. If you need anything else, you can PM me too. See ya!

Thanks for your help. I tried with the VLC player but I get the error "Your input can't be opened VLC is unable to open the MRL"
A couple channels worked on the VLC but they are also working on the MAG. These are channels that I think work no matter what, channels like CHCHing (21) and RT UK (232).

is basically telling us that the channel is not found.
you are correct, if only a few channels ands are in the clear channels then this code is not working

With the VLC it appears that it tries to skip to the next channel but gets the same error.
The MAG is showing these same channels but nothing else. Is there anything I can do or is it for the iks guys to fix/check out?

VLC will always try next channel... is the way it works. If a channel freezes on VLC then the VLC Player will automatically switch channels to next. (unless you combat that).
Sounds like maybe your code needs a server iptv portal change or it it just is a dead code (which does happen with an nfps code).
Was there any indication that maybe the server URL should be changed ?

There was some freezing but that was happening since the upgrade. I got migrated to a new portal recently like other users and it continued to work but then it just stopped and in trying to fix the problem I changed the portal.
I only changed the portal after the problem started. If it is a dead code how do I go about get a new one?

Additionally, the video club when using the MAG gives the error "Server Unavailable".

Guys,
I emailed NFPS and they responded saying they had reset my account on their end however all I am getting now is the STB blocked message. Ihave tried iptv resets and changing the MAC address to fix this new issue and no luck. Can anyone assist especially the mods as NFPS ironically sent me back here for assistance.

Yes I did and it didn't make a difference. Reluctantly I did a portal change and I have been able to get to the channel list but it is back to showing just those few news channels.

I know the channels you are talking about and they have nothing to do with NFPS servers.
I had this problem, too. What solved it for me was to change my IP in my router (from static) and then do an IPTV reset. It solved the problem until a couple of days ago and I had to change my IP again and do the reset cuz I couldn't get any channels to do anything.
It's worth a try!

There is an option on papiao to get a new donation number at the very top.

I still only getting 2 channels 203----207----I never changed aney portal what do I have to do the people that changed portal same for them keep asking krazey 2.0 not get back to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello pal, try changing your portal. Also, verify if you have checkmarked the option "send device id" on the menu.

Hello pal, try changing your portal. Also, verify if you have checkmarked the option "send device id" on the menu.
One more thing. I noticed that you wrote the address without /c/ at the end. Please verify that first....

Mate, thanks for helping me. I tried the adress with the /c/ at the end... unfortunately didn´t help either.
BUT I remembered that I set a manual DNS in the network settings months ago. I never got problems with it, so I not thought in it.
But now I deleted it and tada ... it works. I can start the portal. :D
