need help, my mag 254 keeps stopping the movie while playing from the VOD and it returns to the list of movies in the vod. it will not restart the movie being played either, i have to re-boot and then it will play for maybe 20 minutes and stop again. i also noted when it stops playing the movie it will also not let me start playing a movie i have downloaded on my media. i have the mag 254 updated to latest version too? thanks

check your router you may be timing out reboot that if using a hub not router it will do that try wifi and see if that helps or use the dns 8.8.8.8 that may help

And please post results bro. if any :)

i've read tons of posts but no clear answer, the fact it wont let me access my home media seems like a problem with the actual mag 254 and not a internet, server or something like that, or am i way off thinking that. i see lots of people with freezing issues where they have to unplug or reboot and few post a actual fix that i can see for this concern. i also dont see any references to not being able to access their home media?

Go to the inner portal, interface, HDMI event reaction: Set to disable.

No it didn't, I believe the problem is with my isp and the speed. waiting for upgrade on my end. Some days its okay though!

I have had same problem several times this past week,I'm using power adapters and unsure of how these would time out or how to reboot them.Where would I go to change DNS to 8.8.8.8.....Thanks Steve2
