MAG 254: No more YouTube?

Since some days the YouTube App starts but then no more action is possible! No pictures, no search possible!
I have 218 r11, the new Firmware.

Is this the YouTube Action to stop older apps?

It's still working on my mag250 . But I have to say I have never liked it on a mag box . I have an Apple TV and use that when I want to watch you tube .

Sure the message came up on the first screen , but I was still able to do a search and find stuff what played .

Im quite sure there will be an update for that in the future for Mag 254. Or at least i hope so ;)

It works fine using the Inner Portal. It's never worked in the outer portal.

Did the update on inner portal but only got some google vids, may have to sign up, may try later as a lot of outdoor stuff set before me.

I too have lost all YouTube access on the box. (254). Was working fine last week but now I see one "fake" video icon that don't do anything. All we can do is wait and see if Informir updates the player.

Noticed the language is in Russian. To get English back. This is a C&P as credit is not mine.....

Begin C&P...

Go to Inner Portal.
Open You Tube.
Push the Left Arrow Beside OK the button to open a red menu on left hand side of the screen.
It will be in Russian
Scroll down to the very last item in the menu.
I think you will go through 2 pages of menu.
That is settings.
Push the OK button to open the category.
A screen will appear with 3 boxes titled safe mode, Default extension and language.
Use the right arrow beside the OK button to scroll over to language.
It is the last box on the right.
Use the OK button to change the language to English.
Once you have done that exit using the home button on the left side of the remote.
Let the system reload back to the inner portal.
When you go back into You Tube it will be in English.

You tube app on mag requires a iptv server sub.

Every box I have set up don't require a sub. I use the inner portal for YouTube and they all worked right out of the box till the last YouTube update. Now it is working again. Even added channels to the inner portal and watch those when things are being worked on and outer portal is down.

Not that I would use this for YouTube at my house, but at our bar, if I can run this, I don't need to bring a laptop in since we already have a Mag254.

Problem is, it doesn't play playlists. I can log in, load my playlist and then start the playlist but it plays the first selection and then goes into auto mode loading whatever it wants.

Anyone know a way around this?
