Are filters available in PVR Simple Client?

Potato TV has a great filter setting to remove ALL foreign channels. Not so easy in PVR Simple Client. I have to go to Channel Manager, and remove EACH foreign channel individually.
That's 800 or so channels. Takes forever. THEN if I have any problem down the road, and I have to clear data, all that work is gone! Is there an easier way in Simple Client to save the changes?

Those settings are stored in the tv29.db (SQL)

The described setup, even though it is complicated, will not work for me. It says for Windows only. I run on Linux.

Same here, I run Ubuntu 14.04 but that's not the case you can run FreeBSD for all it cares. You just need to edit the "tv29.db" with the soft. that we supply the link for and you're golden buddy.

Maybe you could give me step by step instructions... Too much weed leaves me confused

Verify this stupid question plz... If tv29db contains the channels as I have currently saved them... Can I keep an external copy of the TV29db file, and in the event
I have to clear data, or any other resolution, just copy the old version of TV29db into the new one? Will that work?

It works for some to use the app on a windows box and then copy the .db over but I have not found that to work for me. What solved it was since we now have access to playlists, just edit that to your liking and it NEVER changes again, no matter how may times you delete the data in Kodi. Before that, it used to make me want to spit teeth! :)
