Hi All,
i was able to get my channels up on iPlaytv on my APTV4 but having issues with the EPG.
The m3u link doesn't produce epg, whats the best way to do this, is there a generic link i can use to point to an online site or how does it work?
APTV4 does not have a usb port so its not like i can load and xml file to it either.
thanks in advance for the help

I'm a newb to IPTV also.
I've used an Avov box and now a generic box with an Android TV system. Both connect fine, but as you are finding out a reliable EPG seems to be a real issue with IPTV. I'm using "Perfect IPTV" which is in Google Play. I've used epg.euyulio.org which fills the guide somewhat. I even signed up for a service that is supposed to have several thousand channels on its guide. When I put in the link 1 channel showed up. The owner said something about needing to edit channel tv-ids in the m3u file. I guess he means they're not standard names?
I'm still trying to figure out how to edit an m3u file and even how to get this file in a place it can be edited.

Perhaps follow and contribute here http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?29458-EPG-for-Android-Perfect-Player as the creation of a generic epg xml file that matches the naming convention of the playlist provided by this IPTV provider should work with any m3u player.
