I too have this STB blocked but I have a Mag 254. Please walk me through help for this.

The best Reset procedure for the Mag box is shown below (well, the best for a reset that seems to be stubborn)

Power off the Device and go to the server website and change that last few digts of the MAC address to some random digits and save as that, (digits can be, 0 thru 9 and/or A thru F)
Then perform an IPTV Reset there at the website and exit the site.
Unplug your router for 30 seconds then plug it back in.
Then wait about 10 minutes.
Then go and replace your original MAC address and another reset
Do not power up or connect the Device just yet.
Wait about 10 minutes again.
Then power up and check for results.
Ensure your device has recognized the internet connection.

Hi crazed 2.0,

I'm having the exact same problem. I have tried all of the recommendations on the links and instructions that you provided to include resetting the bios. I am still blocked.

I am using a Mag 254. I had service before and let it expire. I donated again two days ago and have not been able to get pass the "your STB is blocked" screen.

I received my username and password very quickly after donating.

Again, I have tried what I believe is all the recommendations on this forum.

What do you recommend I do now?

UPDATE: I finally got it to work by doing the following:

1. Removing the entire MAC address from the papiao.is site
2. Attempting to reload the portal
3. Adding the MAC address to the papiao.is site
4. Reloading the portal
