I'm having big problems with my MAG254 the last two weeks and I'm about ready to give up on it.
The program guide is really messed up and is showing channel numbers 0-9 down the left side of the screen instead of the real channel numbers. When I scroll through the guide it always shows channels 0-9 on every page. It's the same for both the transparent guide and the regular guide. The guide that's there also doesn't show the correct programming and most of the channels have no info at all. The EPG is essentially useless on my unit.
Since this first happened I've rebooted the box many times, upgraded the firmware (r10 to r14), did the IPTV Rest thing a bunch of times, and pretty much everything else settings-related I can think of but the EPG is still messed up this way.
The box works fine other than this. I bought a month's subscription to another service and that (and its EPG) work fine. This is what I'm using for TV at the moment so I can have a program guide even though the channel selection sucks. The problem seems confined to our service.
I've searched here and on the other forum and I can't find any post about a problem like this. Anyone ever experience this and solve it? Anybody have any ideas?
