Would like opinions on a problem I started to have a few weeks ago. Every time I want to use my Mag and turn it on and go to guide no channels appear. I have to reboot the Mag every time I want to use. Wondering if anyone else experiencing that problem and if maybe I am having a hardware problem and need a new box.

I have to do the same, not too sure why. Been like that ever since the new update. Guide doesn't work like it used too as well.

I am having the same problem and wish that was not happening...I have paid for a full year of service...also the videoclub has starteed showing
server unavailable. We need some help out here...they seem to listen to Crazed2.0 and she gets things done and we thank her.

I,m having this problem as well,and also when the channel freezes up,and you have to flip back n forth to get channel working again it goes into saying loading at the bottom below the channel list, and you can,t change anything because it totally locks the receiver up. This happens several times a day. This is the worst the mag 254 has worked in years. Too put this in perspective .If you got in your car ,and turned the key and you were used to your car starting, and all of a sudden you had to get out of your car every time you wanted to start it ,and remove the battery cable off and on the rest of the time starting of your car. Most ,or if not all of you ,would not accept this ,and if it didn't get fixed or couldn't be fixed ,would be getting rid of that car lickidy split. and be looking for a new car, aka a new service. A car aka service, that when you turned the key,aka pressed the power button to turn it on and off it worked. Lets get this fixed before we half to get rid of the car,aka move to another service that doesn't ever do this. Thanks

Interesting boys on the south side say they are not experiencing this on other iptv services..or there just getting lucky

After rebooting with new URL imaging came up " IPTV UP FOR SALE" Could this be our problem???

Same here have to pull out the power every time , I hope this does not cause more of an issue with the power cord , hopefully someone comes up with a solution ASAP.

Same problem here but i dont unplug the box,i go to the youtube setting,click ok and wait until the youtube red screen appears,then click setup on remote then i can restart the portal..saves getting up to unplug the box constantly.hope they fix this soon as it started after the last upgrade to nfps.

If you have done a factory rest in Bois and restored it back to factory settings. Make sure when you going into settings you change the video. It usually will be set to Pal after this. This might be why alot of mags aren,t working. I spotted this and its working normal again.

Hi, How do you get to those settings you talk about to see if it is set to pal. What did you change your setting to ,so it started working normal again.Thanks

when you have guide up hit left arrow button and continue to push it till you get to settings click ok. scroll dwn to video and click then top says pal change to ntsc.. exit system will reboot.

I had experienced this quite a few times in the past months. It started out as no connection to the infomir servers. Then it progressed to loading the portal, but then channels were sparsely loading here and there. I rebooted a few times and it turned out to be my internet at home was causing the problem. I rebooted my internet modem, gave it a dedicated ethernet cable, and it is working fine now except for tv guides.

Has nfps changed its url for the mag? All but one new mag up and running on old url.

Also, check service website to ensure of the URL they have set there.

I had those rebooting issues with the newer files. Went back to R-14 and issues of rebooting seem to be gone. R-17 and R-18 caused me fits like that.

been running r-18 all day and so far so good...Don't think its the mag's firmware causing the pages not loading troubles.

Resetting ip on papaio site takes care of most problems. If you cant figure it out and bang your head against the wall a couple of times, try that.

Ive had to reboot by pulling power plug at least 3 times this weekend alone...I havent had to pull the plug to reboot 3 times in the last year before reent update

I also experience same problem but not sure who to blame or how to fix problem as mag infor. says not there fault and iptv 66 says nada.

Old timer that has tried all the suggestions but every day at least 3 times a day my people are having to power off or go into settings and reboot ...using r17 now......Help

Unplug the Mag 254 box then do an IPTV reset wait 5 min and plug it back in worked for

still the same...unplug to reconnect...watch channel for any amount of time and the same...then reboot and all is good for a few till next channel change...then the same...anyone figure this out...and yes I've tried all the suggestions so far...thanks....

same here was running the r14 and now running the r18 still have to reboot box after watching a channel for any length of time . try to change channel and nothing works have to reboot constantly , tried resetting mac , modem , changed to the new url . nothing seems to help all east 25 of us with the same problem all running s1.iptv66.tv/c/
