Simple client Kodi fire stick

I'm changing my MAC addresss from my computer and putting kodi on my fire stick. Do I use fire stick mac I'd or kodi mac id which is running on the the fire stick. I see 2 diff mac ids. Ty been messing with this for a while. Can't get kodi working on my fire stick but kodi on my computer works.
