Not working on IPTV66 with Mag254 or StbEmu on Android box.

These VODs are at times on and off (seems more so with iptv66 recently).
The VODs thru NFPS should be fine. But with Rocket and iptv66 they been a hit and miss at times. Has to do with the recent activity that is seen at the server end of things.
If you are using a Playlist which you have personnallly edited, visit the website and get a fresh copy and without doing any editing, check the VOD on that fresh copy.
Might be as easy as that :)

I've been on that portal for some time now. My vod does not work. I've updated the files and rebooted many times with no luck

They seem to be on and off at times. I suspect once all the portals are migrated and stabilized the VOD section will be addressed.

It has been working off and on for a bit. The backend has been concentrating mostly on the migration. Once that is completed and stabilized, the VOD issues will get more attention. (Read the two previous posts.)

It is working for some. I have a friend with a MXQ box 4.4.2. It has 9.0.3 emu running just fine. This person unplugs it when he isn't using it. Must be some sort of scripting that contains the server links somewhere within the software. weird all of my boxes don't work with video club.

VODs are not same as iptv channels.


first, do not use wifi if want vods
It may work fine , but is a variable.

second, ensure your server url is updated.

VLC Player will kick you outta VODs in a heartbeat, but take same playlist to Potato TV or Playlist Loader or xtreams and they play fine

I do not remember reading anyplace that smart STB is a supported way to watch the service... If you use a supported device/ way to watch then VOD works fine.. Nobody ever said any smart tv app would work 100% so you can't complain... That is the reason it's not working for you, for others it works just fine.

VOD works for me using Kodi 16.1, Playlist loader and VLC external player. Here's how I do it.

I configure a separate M3U list using VLC. Edit all the other channels out, this list only contains VOD, save the file as a .txt file
Using Playlist loader, load this list into PLL.
Playlist loader shows all the VOD channels.
Trying to launch a stream directly from PLL, Kodi will time out before the link ever gets a chance to play. I've not figured out how to extend this time yet.
I therefore, use VLC to launch VOD's.
I have a modified playercorefactory (http://kodi.wiki/view/external_players) file to have a menu which has a "play using".
Since I can record streams, my playercorefactory.xml is customized. Search NapoleonWils0n git hub (https://github.com/NapoleonWils0n/kodi-playercorefactory) for instructions on how to set this up for various OS's.

Exactly. I use MAG devices (there I can't change any media players) and some days it works and some days not. Especially not at weekends. Seems too be a server problem. Maybe too "weak". And I don't know if it has to do with it, but I use the iptv66 service. Are the other services different (they are all the same, right?) and/or do they have more powerful servers?

ijk is a Media Video Player.
You can find it for free download online.

Your Mag box has a player onboard (its own Media Player).
But I do not think that you can add an extra external player onto a Mag box

Then again, I doubt the Mags Player is the issue here. The VODs seem to work okay thru this Mag here.

ensure that your IPTV Server Portal (URL) is correct and matches what they show for you at their website (thru your code)

Hi Radone, if you're using the STB emu, make surr you're running the 1.05 version. If not, check that the update settings are checkmarked and restart your stb emu.

i am having the same issue i am using a mbox with stalker emulator. Is there a fix for this box with VOD keeps starting to run and stops.

Using a mag254 here and having freezing every 20seconds or so. Seems to happen on certain videos only though. Walking Dead s7E1 is a good example of lots of freezing. Tons of bandwidth available on my connection so thats not the issue.

You are right on Ilan. I have one STB that never would play VOD. ON another box it worked fine. I fixed it by changing the default player to IJK. In the STB press and hold OK, you get a menu on the right. Go down to player and make sure its on IJK. Boom, I'm watching all the pron I can handle.
