Time not updating on vixo1

I set the time zone to eastern but the time does not update. Is there something I am doing wrong?

you may have to set time then reboot to get it to take.

Do I need to leave it turned on? I turn it off with the remote when I am done using it.

no what i'm saying is you must have networking on or no clock turning off and on is ok

Did a test. Internet on, power reset the box by pulling the power plug and replacing it. Wait for the box to boot up. Time was correct.
Turned box off with the red button on the remote. One hour later turned the box back on and time was not updating when the box was off. The box must be left on for the time to update and be correct.

Turning avov off with remote gives wrong time a power off/on will correct it, never turn mine off.

In the vixo1 time settings the Eastern and Atlantic time both show GMT -4 that's wrong as Atlantic is GMT -3. Programming issue?

ET is -4 with DST..AT may not be under DST...
