They should have updated to 5.0 so you could use kodi 17.

I don't think this is a very smart release. The only new feature worth noting would be the play store and PVR function (which some servers already offer via Tv catch up). Still running 1.4a HDMI 30 fps 4k, lack of dual band wifi once again, same lack of gigabit ethernet and same kit kat android which is not compatible with Kodi 17. There is already a box called Buzz TV released last month running android 5.0, their own dedicated stalker iptv app, full google play store support + built in aptoide market, dual band wifi and 2 gig DDR3 (not that RAM matters much these days).

T1 is a great box but the plus is pretty much the same device with playstore support. We'll likely see more hybrid IPTV focused android 5.0 boxes releasing with better specs throughout the year.

Love dreamlink but this is hardly an upgrade over original T1. That being said I will still pick one up for testing as I do any new device.

Does it come with an A/V cable adapter? The T1 did not. I use that output for my video distribution system.

The T1 plus shares the same chipset as other box's that are already running on Nougat so don't be surprised if they plan to upgrade android in the future

Just noticed this - for all those excited for the PVR support..... They dropped USB 3.0 and went with dual USB 2.0

Not sure how you'll be able to record high bitrate streams, or if it will matter much.
