I read in another post a while back that the MAG 254 would auto shut down about 30 minutes after the tv was turnd off.
Is this true ? If so is their a setting in the box that leaves the box turnd on ?
I ask this question because I want to time record a program with my DVD Player and I need to have the MAG box left on ?

I am not recording with with the MAG254 I am using a DVD player & recorder and I set my time for the program to play on it . Like a VCR . But I dont want the MAG254 to turn off on me after I turn off my TV . I heard it has a built in timer that automatically shuts the MAG254 down after 30 minutes . I was told it was in the inner portal but I cant find it their . Thats what I need to no . PS. I have RCA stranded definition hooked up .
